Have you ever heard of the “Black Tax”?
The Black Tax is a surcharge placed on purchases made by Black people. The Black Tax has always been a problem in the Black community. But with the help of white allies, we can level the playing field and expose discriminatory practices of businesses and institutions.
Here’s an everyday example of a white ally stepping in to stop a white business from putting a “Black Tax” on a friend.
